Also, because no one asked about this the first time I ran the meme (what do you MEAN all my fic titles are amazingly vapid and require no explanation?!), ask me why I gave any of my fics the title I did, and I'll explain.

1. Gaiden fic involving Kenren, Tenpou, Konzen, and Goku. A humorous anecdote about an innocent fishing trip going terribly, terribly wrong and the four of them nearly being eaten by a giant squid. Actually, this sounds amusing. I should write that sometime! XD

2. That's a lyric from Didn't Leave Nobody But The Baby from the O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack. I always like the song, but that particular lyrics always stuck in my mind, and I really wanted to use it for a Saiyuki fic in particular. It seemed especially appropriate for a fic dealing with Hakkai's past.

Well, that was satire of course (what else could it be with a title like that?) and I suspect it was some kind of AU tossing the Saiyuki characters into some kind of early Christian mythology. I suspect it wasn't too well-liked though. Clearly not enough people appreciate religious satire involving Sanzo!
