Mpreg poll. Oh, come on. You all knew this was going to happen. How can you expect to wave evidence of canon mpreg in my face and expect me not to get tempted to write fic? I mean, really. I totally disclaim all responsibility for this. The internet ate my brain, but it's not my fault. *cries*

Ahem. Yes, poll. So, you know, if I was going to write one-of-the-ikkou-drink-from-the-magical-pregnancy-stream or some such fic, who would you like it to be? This may or may not have any effect on who I decide to knock up, though. *coughs*

Sorry, but the image of a hormonal Sanzo makes me LAUGH and CRY, very loudly, at the same time. The rest of the boys shall be made into Swiss cheese with a distinct touch of gunpowder.

Pregnant!Sanzo would be gloriously horrifying in so many ways. He'd Makai Tenjou Gojyo for even the slightest hint of snarky comments about his delicate condition! He'd bitch at Hakkai, causing the hugest bitchslap fight of the century! He'd eat all Goku's meat buns! XD He'd be even worse because he wouldn't be able to smoke or drink for nine months. I suspect the rest of the Ikkou would decide to lock him up in a nice, fluffy, pillow-covered room for the duration of the pregnancy.

Oh man, you know I had to vote Gojyo.

Granted, it would be a cruel irony to have it be Sanzo considering all the recent virgin!Sanzo discussion lately. But mpreg!Sanzo just doesn't thrill me the way mpreg!Gojyo does. I think Sanzo's just not stable enough to deal with the whole pregnancy, let alone mpreg, thing. Whereas Gojyo has humor and Hakkai on his side.

LOL, the Hakkai factor in a Gojyo pregnancy is a huge selling point for me. Because, you know, ISSUES. But also incredibly sweet? Dude, the angst cannot be calculated!

The angst, the running around and doing everything he can for Gojyo, the freaking out, the everything, because you know Hakkai would alternate between treating Gojyo like glass, freaking out about the whole thing, getting anything and everything for Gojyo, angsting about the whole kid and his past situation, reassuring Gojyo that Gojyo's past won't hurt the kid and an amzingly large amount of assorted issues and actions.

It would be intense, to say the least. But, oh, so very good. ^_^

I voted for Gojyo, mostly because I'm really not sure anyone would survive Sanzo's pregnancy. He's trigger happy enough when he's in a good mood! Plus, Hakkai would fuss over Gojyo something awful. And then I would laugh and laugh. :)

As would we all. Really, pregnant!Sanzo is terrifying. In a good way, mind, (see upthread about him bitching at everyone and forcing them to cater to his cravings) but yes. Terrifying. And altogether too fond of shooting people. Doting!Daddy!Hakkai would be adorable. And hilarious.

Indeed, that seems to be the general consensus. Sanzo seems to be too crazy to be a mommy. Which is good because Gojyo is the one I wanted to knock up anyway. Ahem. I mean, we'll see what comes of this. *innocent smile*
