A question for my flist

I'm considering selling some things on eBay and wanted to know if anybody has any opinions/ideas they want to share. Is this a good idea, a bad idea, or what? Have you had any experiences with eBay, good or bad, that I should know about?

I've only purchased things on eBay, so far no problems. My sister sells on eBay off and on, usually dolls and toys she's found at estate sales and swap meets, and I think she's had issues with only one or two customers over the years.

If you have some pricey items, you may want to set the sale up so their is a minimum price that has to be bid in order for the sale to occur.

Hm. Okay, thanks. I'm not so much concerned about rude customers as I am about difficulties with the eBay company itself. Glad to hear that most of your experiences have been positive.

And thanks for the tip! I'd only be selling some books and DVDs, but since I paid full retail for them and used them very gently, if at all, I'd like to get as high a price as I can. Thanks for your help.
