Feb. 15th, 2007 03:07 pmA belated happy Valentine's day to all of you in LJ land! I hope you had lots of candies, flowers, and construction-paper-and-glitter cards yesterday!
Unfortunately, I spent my V-day with the flu, as the whole family is currently sick with some plague. I'm still stumbling around zombie-like today, attempting to be productive and failing spectacularly. I hope to get some writing done though, or maybe some rec posts because it seems like real life has eaten me in recent weeks. It's been forever since I posted new fic, it seems, and I'd like to remedy that. So, I fight on!
In the meantime, I did that Gender Genie thingy that everybody's been playing around with.
For a recent piece of fanfiction:
Female Score: 1587
Male Score: 1594
For a recent piece of original fiction:
Female Score: 1306
Male Score: 783
For a recent essay:
Female Score: 1794
Male Score: 2507
Iiiinteresting. Whenever I attempt one of these male/female things, I usually score as male. I'm not sure why or how these things work, though. The Gender Genie informs me that I really like the words 'and' and 'the' (which I assume everyone uses a lot, male or female) as well as the words 'not', 'was', and 'to'. Huh.
