(no subject)

Ahem. So, Amazon.com (and a quick mapquest) tell me that my copy of HBP is about 120 miles away as of yesterday. *squeaks happily* It ought to arrive tomorrow or Sunday, I think. I will be leaving for a vacation in Hawaii on Monday, so I'm saving the book to read on the long plane flight. Yay!

Anyway, I will be gone from the 18th to the 27th, woe! Well, not really woe, since I'll be in HAWAII! But I will miss my crack internet. Perhaps I'll be able to get some writing done while I'm on the plane, too. It's a good place to write, since there's not much else you can do. I'll just have to make sure the people next to me can't read over my shoulder. Having them ask me why I'm writing such things as Hakkai thrust roughly into Gojyo, screaming in pleasure might be a little awkward.

I'm all babbly today. I suppose I should channel that into doing something productive, like working on my youkai!Hakkai fic.

(no subject)

My youkai!Hakkai fic is about halfway done, but as may be evidenced by my whining posts over the last few days, it's not going too well. I'm left with the feeling that the fic is really dragging in some places and not fleshed out enough in others. Plus, the fic is set in an odd time in canon, and I'm concerned I may be screwing up the timeline. So I would really love another pair of eyes to look the fic over and tell me what makes sense, what doesn't, which parts to cut, and so on. Anyone interested? It would really be a huge help.
