Fate Should Not Tempt Me is a Sherlock BBC fic wherein Sherlock is an agent of Fate, a omniscient supernatural agency (overseen by Mycroft, natch) that controls the destiny of the world by fixing little blips in Fate's design. Sherlock is assigned to fix the little problem of a soldier who was supposed to die in Afghanistan, but who somehow escaped his fate. Thus, he meets John, whom he is supposed to erase from existence, but OH NOES! He ends up liking John, and doesn't want to destroy him! WHAT NOW.
