I'm officially on spring break, and thank goodness for that. I was getting pretty burned out there. Of course, I have heaps of work to do over the break, but at least I can sleep in. And I'm still really enjoying all of my courses, (more than halfway through the semester, which is a miracle itself) so it's not too much of a burden. I plan on spending the next week sleeping, sleeping more, playing computer games, writing, editing, and working on all the little things that need to be worked on. And did I mention sleeping?

Crossing my fingers in hope that I'll be able to get some new fic up within a few days, too. It's been an absolutely ridiculous amount of time since I last posted fic. I think it's been about two and a half months now. Sheesh. Well, I've got a couple of things that are almost done and in the final polishing stage, so if I'm lucky I might finish them...er, within the next four weeks, knowing myself. Hopefully sooner! Also, rec posts. I have about five of them half compiled, but I'll be trying to wrap them up and post them this week.

God, I love this course. It's so exciting. I've never really had a formal creative writing course, and it's really thrilling to be able to learn more about writing fiction. Also getting to do the whole 'workshop' experience. I had my first class review today, after I submitted my story last week. It went really, really well. So many people said such lovely things about my writing, and it made me incredibly proud and happy. It was a much-needed ego boost, particularly since I've been very critical of my own writing lately, and that's been hampering me. So I think I might be emerging from my writer's block and jamming a sock into the mouth of my Internal Editor. (I spelled that Infernal Editor on the first go. Well, it's infernal too!)

Anyway. This journal has been kind of boring lately, and more about my own stress and real life stuff than anything fannish. I'm going to try and turn that around. Help me out by talking to me about what you're reading/watching/listening to/whatever! I want to know what's making you squee at the moment.

Banri/Sanzo! Er...believe it or not.

jamming a sock into the mouth of my Internal Editor

I read that as "jamming a cock..." Ahem.

Ooo, intriguing! I wish to hear more. Oddly, I can actually kind of see that pairing. Hmmm...

Ahahaha! Well, that might work too, I suppose! I wouldn't really know. *snickers* Oh, Internal Editor! Have you been cheating on me?! I thought I was the only one whose self-esteem you liked to destroy! *sobs*

I had a Creative Writing class last semester, and it was kind of incredible. Workshopping is terrifying and really nice once it's all over. XD I always felt really bad because for the month of November, all my writing for that class sucked really hard-core. *cough* NaNoWriMo ruins lives. XD

And...squeeing...uh. I think Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles and, er, m-my NaNo story that's about a chapter shy of being complete.... My life is sad. XD

It's incredibly exciting. But also terrifying. And hee! I'll probably be taking this same class next semester, since it's a two-semester thing, so all my classmates will have to suffer through my NaNoWriMo writing. I pity them already.

Eeee! Yay for almost-finished NaNo! That's awesome. Congrats!

Leon in Kingdom Hearts II. Just like Squall only with more belts and a better attitude. What's not to love? ^_^

Ooo. I don't really know Kingdom Hearts, but I am very interested by your description. Mmm, Squall types...

Kingdom Hearts is... well, it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but there's enough Final Fantasy in there to keep me drooling.

Here's a bit of Cloud/Squall, if you don't mind mild spoilers:

So. Much. Slashabily. :)

What am I squeeing...my Japanese Studies class. Especially since now, we're at modern pop culture and analysing what makes it so good. And Wild Adapter! I'm insanely mad over it. I ♥ Kubotoki like woah.

I love studying modern pop culture in any class! It's really a blast, especially if you have a good teacher. And Wild Adapter is just too cool. Kubotoki is darling. ♥♥
