While this one isn't my favorite Saiyuki pairing, I do find it very interesting to ponder. Sanzo and Hakkai have a very unique dynamic, and they relate to each other in a way that's very different from the way they relate to everyone else. I think they kind of understand each other better than anyone else. This is what makes their relationship most interesting to me. Also, they do seem to have some sexual chemistry. I'm dubious about whether or not they could actual make it work in a relationship, but either way, they make an interesting couple.



I like Schuldig/Yohji, plain and simple. Again, it's not my favorite pairing, but I like it. They have absolutely buckets of sexual chemistry together, and since they're on opposing sides, that can make for some great angst and hatesex. Also, the snarking potential is awesome. I recently did a short ficlet for this pairing, and it was a blast to write. I like the way Schuldig and Yohji interact with each other, the way their personalities clash. At the end of the day, Crawford/Schuldig is still my OTP, and I like Yohji to go home to Weiss. Still, I do read Schuldig/Yohji, and I always enjoy it.
