(no subject)

I've recently put most of my personal posts under friendslock. Nothing very interesting, just non-fandom related personal stuff. There's not even much personal information, I'm just paranoid. But I'm considering setting up filters for that kind of thing also/instead. Thing is, I don't want to spam people who have absolutely no interest in what I ate for lunch/my sewing projects/my gardening attempts/etc. So if I did make filters, it would be strictly opt-in. So those of you who are like just give me fandom stuff, kthnx wouldn't be bothered. Since I'm too lazy to set up a poll, I'll just ask: What do you think? Are filters a good idea? Bad idea? Are you indifferent? Tickybox?

One of my fics for yaoi_challenge is completely done and has been sent off to the beta, and the other is finished, but in need of major editing. I'm trying not to be too late with them (deadline was Monday). Speaking of yaoi_challenge, though, if you're not already over there, go read the fics! There are tone of them, and they're all good. Some really good ones are No Missionary Zeal by wordsofastory (Kenren/Konzen) and True Things by emungere (Sanzo/Hakkai). But heck, they're all good. And I haven't even read half of them!
