Allergies and a love meme

I went to see the allergist today , as I've been experiencing allergy problems once again. I had awful allergies as a kid, so bad I had to get shots for several years, but I've been better for a while now. This year though, almost everyone I know has been suffering some kind of hayfever, myself included, so it's off to the doctor with me. They do this fun little test at the allergist where they use a needle and serum to inject dozens of tiny amounts of various allergens into the skin of your back and then see what reacts. This determines what you're allergic too. Apparently, most people only react to a couple things and even then it's only a small reaction. As for me...well. You know you have an Impressive Reaction when the doctor comes back halfway through to check on how you're doing, opens the door, takes a step back in shock, and goes, "WHOA." :) Needless to say, I found out the only pollen and weed I'm not allergic to is cypress, so I think I need to build a house out of that or something. I get to go through this test two more times, too, for household allergens and food allergens. Whee. Hopefully I won't react as much to those. The test was kind of funny, though, because the doctors were so 'holy crap' at my results. They even brought in a newbie nurse to look at my back to show her what a 'super-reaction' looked like and told me that mine was the kind of result they'd put on slides to show to students in med school. *expires*

I am attempting to frantically wrap up my Iris Print story in time for the deadline. Which is today. Good job, me! I don't know if I'll make it, and I'm not very confident about the story anyway. Due to Real Life interference in various forms, I only started it about three days ago and I don't think it's very good. Oh well. Maybe next time.

I have a billion things to rec and a billion things to write, but not much time or energy. Someday I'll get it all together. In the mean time, I'll do one of them love memes.
